Brainstormed things we care about. We came up with:
- Women’s bodies
- Dress code (for thick girls)
- Discrimination too -- black girls “more developed”
- Black lives
- Poor / Poverty
- @ Sanford → discrimination
- In the classroom
- In dress code → body type bias
- Judging how people smell
- People who have difficulty
- Dakota Pipeline problem → government taking water/pipeline access
- Physical / domestic abuse
- Gun violence
- And other violence --
- Child abuse / neglect
- Drug abuse
- Esp. with students/underaged
- Putting up signs
- Putting slides in advisory
- Telling people about the issues
- Making T-shirts
- Working to change the rules/how we do rules
- Protest
Lots of us learned about the Dakota Pipeline and what's going on there.
Then, we brainstormed ways we can make a change. We thought of:
